Each year, five State Winners are chosen from the regions of Queensland/Northern Territory, New South Wales, Victoria/Tasmania, South Australia and Western Australia. These five finalists travel to Tamworth and Gunnedah in NSW in August for the official announcement of the National Winner.
National first, second and third trophies are awarded, and all State Winners also visit the AgQuip field days in Gunnedah NSW where their profiles are on display and they have a chance to meet and mingle with visitors to the Syngenta stand at AgQuip.
The overall winner each year wins a study tour to the UK valued at $15,000.

Evan Lord - State Winner NSW and National 2nd place
Andrew Kennedy - State Winner SA and National 3rd place
Daniel Serra - State Winner QLD
Dean Morgan - State Winner WA
