Canadian Corn Pest Coalition
The Canadian Corn Pest Coalition (CCPC) supports seed industry stewardship to monitor and manage best practices for all approved Bt corn products in Canada. www.cornpest.ca provides information on Bt corn, field scouting procedures and Insect Resistance Management.

Seedcare Certification Program
In 2008, Syngenta launched the Seedcare Certification Program as an online tool to help commercial treaters strengthen their seed treatment knowledge and best practices. Detailed tutorials and an examination are designed to assess and increase the seed treater’s knowledge in the areas of Canada’s seed treatment history, product Active Ingredients and formulations, applications and safe use, handling and storage. Graduates become Syngenta Certified Seedcare Professionals.

Advanced Agricultural Leadership Program
Established in 1984, the Advanced Agricultural Leadership Program (AALP) is an executive development program for men and women who want to broaden their horizons and expand their networks to help shape the future of the agriculture and food sectors in Ontario.

Certified Crop Adviser Program
The Canadian Certified Crop Adviser Program is a voluntary professional certification program providing a base level of standard through testing and raising that standard through continuing education. CCA's are knowledgeable in field and crop management, experts in the identification of problem weeds, diseases and pests, and are honest as they all abide by a strict code of ethics.
