In its present form, Syngenta is a young company. But it stems from an industrial tradition going back almost 250 years. We are proud of that heritage, and of the many milestones en route to today's leading position worldwide. Tomorrow starts by building on them further.

Syngenta India has moved to new office on 30th October 2009 in Pune, moving its both major business functions- Crop Protection & Seeds and all corporate functions. This is new corporate and Registered office of Syngeta India Limited.

Syngenta India on high growth mode, crosses Rs. 1400 Cr. turnover  

Company records growth on various parameters – new products, new markets, new initiatives, more recognition

Received EIA approval, TMX expansion plan gets required boost, facility progressing as planned

Post successful merger, company decides to realign business units, business consolidation planned

First buyback offer to Indian shareholders. Syngentastake increased from 51% to 84%

Syngenta, in its pursuit for offering only the best chemistries to the growers, discontinued manufacturing of the fast selling Dimecron (Phosphamidon) and Nuvacron (Monocrotofos),
