Seedless Pepper wins Innovation Prize

The novel sweet and seedless mini-pepper, ANGELLO™, has won the Innovation Award at Fruit Logistica 2012 in Berlin - the world’s leading fruit and vegetable exhibition for the food chain.

The latest innovative fresh produce developed by Syngenta, ANGELLO™ was considered by delegates to be the trade fair’s outstanding innovation, amongst ten nominees.

ANGELLO™ is the first pepper that consumers can enjoy as a snack without having to cut-up the fruit and remove its seeds. It is also unique in sweetness and crunchiness.
