Our Interviews

There’s never been a better time to join our company. We offer a satisfying and challenging work environment, excellent career prospects and ongoing personal development opportunities.

InterviewsSyngenta aims to attract, recruit and retain high calibre employees and we are committed to ensuring the highest standards in recruitment and selection. Our aim is to recruit the most suitable person for the job as determined by personal merit, in a timely manner and in line with business needs.

All applicants will receive fair treatment. No employee or external applicant will be treated less or indeed more favourably because of their sex, race, disability, age, sexual orientation, marital status, nationality, ethnic or national origin, colour, religious beliefs or trade union membership/activities.

A telephone interviewOnce you have submitted your application we will shortlist those applicants we wish to invite for an interview. Depending on your geographical location, your first interview experience with Syngenta may involve a telephone interview. This is a good opportunity for us hear about your skills and experiences and we can provide you with more information about the vacancy and what it is like to work for Syngenta.

The next stage in the recruitment process is usually a face-to-face interview at one of our UK sites. You may be asked to talk about your technical (and non-technical) skills and experiences, both in your previous roles and your life outside work.

Candidates may be asked to deliver a technical presentation, but if this is the case you will be notified in advance. We would like you to have the opportunity to look at our facilities and get a flavour of the environment in which you would be working if you were successful in securing a position with us, so wherever possible we will ensure that you get a tour of the site.

Following the interview, successful and unsuccessful candidates will be notified of
the outcome in a timely manner.
