Enogen™ Grain Contract Management
The Enogen™ grain contract management system facilitates efficient production, delivery and usage of Enogen grain within a dry grind ethanol plant.
Growers access Enogen hybrid corn seed through a technology license with Syngenta. Enogen grain can only be grown under a production contract with an Enogen-licensed ethanol plant. All production from contracted acres is delivered to that specific ethanol plant. The Enogen Corn Production Contract includes acres, field IDs, storage IDs and historical yields, among other key inputs. Specific stewardship requirements are detailed in the contract, along with specific delivery periods, and grain discount/premium schedules unique to that local ethanol plant. The grain delivery periods are designed to ensure a consistent supply of Enogen grain to the plant for efficient production of ethanol.
