With millions of
farmers using our products all
over the world,
product stewardship
is an ongoing
and challenging task.
To increase our effectiveness,
we will work with
others to extend
our product stewardship programs.
Our plans include:
- Working in cooperation with governments to set up certification schemes to train and certify users and distributors of crop protection products
- Evaluating our product stewardship programs so we can better understand farming practices, identify safety issues and improve our training
- Working with governments and others in the food supply chain to develop guidelines
for sustainable
agriculture, including protocols on the use of crop protection
products, to ensure that food continues to be safe and
of good quality
- Advancing technologies such as safer spray equipment to help ensure the safe use of our products
