The Syngenta Finance Management Program
Our Finance Management Program gives you the opportunity to pursue your career as a finance professional with a unique company in an exciting growth sector. Designed to lead everyone who completes it into rewarding positions within our company, each program is designed to meet your specific development needs.
You'll spend three years in a dynamic and challenging environment where you'll gain insights and experience across a number of roles in different areas of our business. You may learn firsthand about Decision Support, see how a multinational treasury function operates successfully, or experience how mergers and acquisitions work.
We work in over 90 countries, so you may experience a role outside our headquarters in Switzerland. That might be in an emerging market with limited infrastructure but exciting growth opportunities or a large regional center with all the international complexities that involves. Either way, you'll be expected to take real responsibility from day one.
Developing tomorrow's leaders
Our Finance Management Program offers graduates a chance to pursue a development program that is tailored to their needs. Over a 3 year period, graduates will benefit from exposure to many different aspects of our business with a combination of 3 different roles, a structured training program, mentoring and possibly acquiring a recognised post graduate finance qualification such as CIMA, CFA or ACCA.
Our ambition is to develop our future finance leaders and help graduates realise their potential for an international career.
Who are we looking for?
We recruit talented graduates with at least a bachelor degree and with a strong interest in a career as a finance professional.
You'll need a strong academic record and good communication skills. As well as English, you should ideally speak at least one other relevant language fluently.
The people we want are energetic, enthusiastic and care about what they do. You'll be excited by the challenges of working in a truly international business that puts a premium on performance. You have either recently graduated or about to. Moreover, you should be excited by the markets in which we operate and the way we do business.
