A PICTURE TELLS A THOUSAND WORDS
Entries are now closed for the 2007 Syngenta Photo Competition. The winners will be announced here in mid-December.
This year’s competition, "The Spirit of Agriculture", offers the chance to tell your visual stories from farms, markets, communities and neighbourhoods.
There are three categories open to external amateur photographers:
- Patterns and colors in agriculture
- Celebrating agriculture
- Care of the land
An amateur photographer is defined primarily as any individual who does not derive more than 20% of his/her income from photography. Employees are excluded from this competition, but are encouraged to participate in a separate internal competition.
The photo competition runs from July 2 - 1 November 2007, with results being announced in mid-December.
"The Grand prize winner" for the competition will receive 1500 USD Amazon dollars, or equivalent currency on another Amazon site, while the Second prize winner for will receive 1000 USD Amazon dollars. The Third prize winner will receive 500 USD Amazon dollars.
The winning external photos will be placed on this site.
