General information
Release weekly at low rates as winged aphids appear in the crop. If colonies become established, make localized hot spot treatments or intervene at the economic threshold with a selective aphicide (eg pymetrozine or pirimicarb.) If aphids are suspected of transmitting virus or populations are high, use pymetrozine or pirimicarb (depending on local registrations) before releasing Aphelinus abdominalis. Do not spray between release of adult wasps and mummy formation.
