Product description

Eretmocerus mundus is a small parasitic wasp that uses the whitefly species Bemisia tabaci as a host. Eretmocerus mundus is available in 2 product forms: in bottles of 3,000 with bran carrier, or in blister packs of 5,000, with 20 blisters per pack, each containing sufficient pupae to produce 250 wasps.


Whitefly parasite

  • Specific to Bemisia tabaci
  • Effective in high temperatures
  • Additional pest kill from adult host feeding

  • Good host-finding behaviour

Instructions for use

  • Apply at 10-12 parasites per m² depending on whitefly occurrence and intensity
  • A minimum of 3 releases must be made, beginning with a small release in zones at greatest risk of pest damage

Blister:

  • Remove the sheet of blister packs from the envelope and separate along the perforations
  • Open the flap at the back of the blister
  • Hang on the plant in the shade
  • Keep out of direct sunlight



Bottle:


  • Open the bottle in the glasshouse in the early morning or evening when light conditions are low
  • Do not release in sunlight
  • Sprinkle the product directly onto the leaves in areas where whitefly occurs
  • Spread evenly in the crop
  • Use as many release points as possible
  • Keep bran carrier out of reach of rodents and excessive humidity



Important information:

  • Eretline m is recommended for use where Bemisia tabaci has been observed
  • Eretline m is known to be extremely effective; especially where very high temperatures are prevalent and other whitefly formulations have been unsuccessful
  • It is only permitted for release in certain European countries and may need
    a licence before use


Storage and transport

  • Keep out of direct sunlight
  • Transport and store at 6 -10ºC
  • Use or within 18 hours of receipt
