General information

Orius is a predatory bug that is often used in a programme with predatory mites in crops such as peppers where it will quickly establish when feeding on the target pest and pollen. The introduction of Amblyseius cucumeris / A swirskii will control young thrips and the Orius majusculus will compliment this by predating on both the juveniles and the adult thrips.
