The original consumer business of Syngenta comprised products sold directly to retailers under the brand MAAG™, which is one of the leading brands in the Swiss gardening market with more than 150 years of history.
Syngenta has now significantly expanded its consumer offer of branded products, targeting non-professional gardeners, through a series of partnerships with Compo in continental Europe, Westland in the UK and Ireland, Central Garden & Pet in the USA and Fumakilla in Japan.
The consumer products of Syngenta are purchased by hobby gardeners for the control of pests on indoor, outdoor and balcony plants, and for the lawn and garden to be applied to trees, flowers, fruits, vegetables, paths and hedges.
